Your Questions Answered, Simple and Clear

Bariatric Surgery

We understand that treating obesity isn’t one-size-fits-all. Every patient’s health, history, and goals are different—so we start with a full evaluation to understand what approach will serve you best. This may include nutritional counseling, activity planning, weight loss medication, or, in some cases, bariatric surgery. Learn more!

If you’re living with daily heartburn, throat irritation, or a constant need for antacids, it might be more than just something you ate. Chronic acid reflux, or GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease), can interfere with meals, sleep, and even your ability to focus. Learn more!

Your gallbladder may be small, but when it acts up, it can cause serious pain and disruption. Gallstones, inflammation, or poor gallbladder function can lead to attacks that stop you in your tracks — and often, they keep coming back. Learn more!

Digestive discomfort can be easy to ignore — until it isn’t. Pain, bleeding, or bowel changes can all be signs that something more serious is going on. Whether it’s inflammation, a mass, or symptoms you’re just not sure about, our team is here to guide you forward with answers, options, and support. Learn more!

A hernia happens when an internal organ or tissue pushes through a weak spot in the surrounding muscle or connective tissue. For many people, it starts with a small bulge… maybe some occasional discomfort… but over time, the pain increases, activity becomes limited, and everyday life feels harder than it should. Learn more!

It’s natural to feel overwhelmed, uncertain, or even afraid. Whether you’ve found a lump, been referred after an abnormal mammogram, or are navigating a breast cancer diagnosis, you deserve answers and a care team that listens without rushing. Learn more!

Digestive symptoms like heartburn, pain, bleeding, or swallowing difficulty can be unsettling — especially when they linger without a clear cause. At Angelina Surgical Associates, we use endoscopy to take a closer look at what’s happening inside your digestive tract, so we can guide your care with clarity and confidence. Learn more!

Not every concern requires a hospital stay — but that doesn’t mean it’s minor to you. At Angelina Surgical Associates, we treat a wide range of skin and soft tissue abnormalities, from small cysts and lipomas to abscesses, skin infections, and suspicious growths. Whether it’s painful, changing, or simply unknown, we’re here to offer clarity and care. Learn more!

Robotic-assisted surgery is a type of minimally invasive surgery where your surgeon uses a robotic system to control small instruments with enhanced precision. A high-definition, 3D camera gives your surgeon a magnified view, while the robotic arms translate their movements into exact, steady motions. Learn more!

Some wounds don’t follow the normal healing process. Whether caused by surgery, trauma, infection, or chronic illness, complex wounds can become painful, frustrating, and dangerous if left untreated. Learn more!
